Beating Cancer
Is Just The Begining
While cancer treatment might be over, survivors are often faced with a new set of physical, mental, and emotional challenges.
At Survivor Fitness
Our programs are intentionally designed to meet each cancer survivor where they are – physically and mentally – and help them get where they want to go.
A Program Fit For Your Recovery
Our programs are intentionally designed to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go. We work with cancer survivors of every adult age, diagnosis, and fitness level to provide:
One-on-one personal fitness training with certified trainers who are knowledgeable about the unique health and wellness challenges faced by survivors, such as mobility limitations and changes in diet and nutrition.
• Two sessions per week for 12 weeks (a total of 24 sessions).
Individualized nutritional consultation from registered dietitians to discuss effective eating habits and help survivors regain their strength, health, and quality of life.
• Up to five in-person nutrition sessions.
Mental health counseling through cancer coaching and online therapy.
• Three months of one-on-one therapy sessions through BetterHelp.
• Personalized care navigation from our Program Navigator
Ongoing encouragement, support and resources during and after the program, including healthy cookbooks, nutritional support information, monthly workshops and more.
When survivors graduate our program, they can stay connected to Survivor Fitness through optional classes offered each week at a low cost – without having to enroll in a gym membership.

Frequently Asked Questions
Applicants will speak with our Program Navigator who will help determine the best gym and trainer for you. Through BetterHelp’s intake information, participants are connected with a therapist fit for their needs.
We offer support and resources after you graduate including cookbooks, nutritional information, monthly workshops, optional weekly classes at a low cost or no cost, and more.
It can be tough to know what comes first, but our Program Navigator is here to help. All applicants will speak with the Program Navigator who will walk you through the process and determine the best path for you.
While you can do all three programs at once, we don’t always advise starting the mental wellness program at the same time as the fitness & nutrition programs. Cancer is often overwhelming, so easing into these programs can help ensure you are able to fully engage without feeling overwhelmed. Our Program Navigator will help navigate this process.Â
The fitness program is 12 weeks (two sessions per week for a total of 24 sessions). The nutrition program is roughly 12 weeks. The mental wellness program is three months. We advise doing the fitness and nutrition program simultaneously.Â
